Car history:
1969 Chevrolet Corvette, the car is a prime candidate for a complete restoration as I have already begun the process. I began a frame off restoration a few years ago so the body is no longer on the frame, but am no longer in the position to continue to give this car the attention it deserves. The frame has been sand-blasted and coated to protect it from any rust. All new brake lines have also been run along the frame as well. The engine is a NAPA rebuilt 350 that is bored .060 over. The Muncie 4 speed in the car is original to the car and features a brand new clutch. The Dana rear-end is also original to the vehicle as well and it does feature power brakes. The body and interior of the car do need a lot of attention, but are certainly salvageable pieces that any good body man could bring back to life. The owner prior to me was trying to give the car a tilted nose look similar to that of a Viper, but had no idea what he was doing so the front clip does need a fair bit of body work. It is a T-top car with working latches. Most of the big pieces are here to get you started on being able to build the Corvette of your dreams, as long as you are willing to put in the much needed time to bring this old beauty back to life. 85,000 miles.
